What should we do in Iraq?

We have been there for a while. Should we stay there untill we win, at all costs? or Should we cut our losses and pull out?

Do you think we can really win?

And what would be considered a win?

Let me know what you all think about it.

I think we should pull out and let them fend for themselves. We all know now that this war isnt about terrorism its about oil amd money. Um yeah in order to find bin laden you actually have to be looking for him. Everyones so fixed on helping an others gov. structure while we watch our own crumble into the abyss of the greedy. When our troops come home what kind of home will they come to and will they still wont to be in a job where they defend us? and our so called freedom...freedom that is tainted by those who think this country is a free ride and here solely for them and their intrests.
Win ? we have both have loss this thing already. i think sometimes Bush stays in this thing just so he can have something to do. Yeah we have killed some of the bad guys whoopee, there is a whole group that hates us and wants us gone. Will we ever get rid of them I dont think so.
I have lost my steam lol thats it for now lol

I think you should never had gone to Irak, it was clear that there were no weapons, as there were many other maniacs in the world worser than Sadam.

This war shouldn't have started. Now is mandatory for the USA and EUROPE to repair this situation.
If you just go, and leave all in ruins, I may understand. It's too much money, and too much lives lost. But, what have we done?

Now Irak is reduced to a ruin, seems like they are back to the cave, and the country is in the hands of the fanatic Chii sect, 800 000 people had to run and leave their homes, the women have to use chador again, no woman can work, they torture the people...

I think Bush won the war.
And Iraq and the USA and Europe, they all lost it.

All that we do now, is a bad thing. Nothing matters.

Yes, we do have a problem in Iraq. We have made such a mess there that I think all we can do is pull out and provide enough support for the government to get a hold of the situation.

We must constantly phase ourselves out of the area. They dont want us there and staying will only prolong the suffering. With all the oil money in Iraq, rebuilding it will not be a problem, the main issue will be those that take advantage of the situation. Many people have gotten very rick off of many peoples suffering. Too many.

I agree with you Dominic, for many countries having mines of diamonds and petrol is not an advantage, because the greed of people is their ruin.

i think i could write a book on my feelings and cover the pro's and con's of being in Iraq. i have a son and a (soon to be dautgher in law) stationed there.

i think trhe book would end with two sentiments:

1) it would cost about 600 million dollers to feed, cloth, house and educate every man, woman and child on the planet for a year. it is a alot of money. About the same amount that the worlds governments spend on defence... in TWO WEEKS!

2) a hungry man.. is an angry man!

{correct spelling is optional. Beter add a buck fifty to that budget for adult education to bring me up to speed} (winks)
